Global Health Elective Rotation Application Process
NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2011-2012
The Hubert-Yeargan Center for Global Health provides two to three month Global Health Elective Rotations for Duke residents in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and the combined programs of Internal Medicine/Pediatrics and Internal Medicine/Psychiatry. Of all HYC programs, the Global Health Elective Rotations are the most common due, in part, to the wide selection of locations. Residents are expected to conduct research and/or provide clinical care to patients at the serving hospital. In limited locations, only visual observation is permitted, however, unique opportunities are available for residents to expand their teaching and lecturing skills.
